Consultant Physician

The Consultant Physician in Acute/General Medicine or Emergency Medicine role in NHS Shetland offers a unique opportunity to work in a small, integrated, and multi-professional environment. About the role

This role involves providing comprehensive care for acutely unwell adults and children across various medical presentations. It also entails managing inpatient cases and covering shifts on the medical ward, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide initial care for acutely unwell adults and children

• Maintain clinical skills and special interests through participation in CEPD and research

Requirements

Qualifications

Successful candidates must hold a relevant medical qualification and be registered with the General Medical Council (GMC).
