Essential Duties And Responsibilities Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Work closely with the Director of Design and Construction and assist with any tasks assigned on a daily basis related to ongoing projects. Participate in project design meetings and propose improvements if necessary. Evaluate potential problems and technical hitches and develop solutions. Plan and manage team goals, project schedules and new information. Supervise current projects and coordinate all team members to keep workflow on track. Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed and stored. Direct project correspondences by preparing and reviewing project proposals, memos, meeting minutes and emails as directed by the department manager. Communicate with subcontractors to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives as directed by the department manager. Adhere to budget by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures. Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Strong attention to detail and organization. Excellent communication skills both written and oral. Must possess interpersonal skills to deal effectively with business contacts and employees at all levels of the company. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, staff, customers, and general public. Must have a strong background with Excel spreadsheets. Ability of complex reading, writing, math, and task completion skills is required. Must have the following skills: clerical, compiling, coordination, analyzing, supervising, instructing, precision working, following instructions, influencing others, memorization, problem solving, independent judgment, and decision making. Flexible working all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate. Must be a minimum of 21 years of age. EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE Must have 3 years’ experience in clerical construction or any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the team member is constantly sitting, occasionally standing, walking, reaching overhead, bending over, crouching, kneeling, and balancing during the duration of their shift. Must be able to lift/carry and push/pull up to 25lbs or less occasionally. The team member will constantly have repetitive use of both hands and require frequent light and occasional firm/strong grasping motions. Finger dexterity of both hands will be constantly required. Constant use of vision abilities is required including distance, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. WORK ENVIRONMENT Work performed indoors and outdoors, alone and frequently with and around others. Team Member will perform work face-to-face including verbal contact with others on extended shifts around computer equipment and other electrical devices. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but may be loud or quiet at times. Team Member may be exposed to confined areas, extreme heat, extreme cold, wet and/or humid conditions, fumes/odor, dirt/dust, moving objects, slippery surfaces, and/or secondhand smoke.
