Construction Site Security Program Manager

About the role

The Construction Security role supports large-scale construction projects, ensuring excellent service delivery to clients.

Responsibilities

• Site access control and badging oversight
• Perimeter security and risk mitigation
• Ensure appropriate security systems are present
• Plan, coordinate, and report security systems
• Prepare security education modules
• Vendor and contractor security compliance
• Incident response and escalation support
• Alignment with corporate and operational security standards
• Manage stakeholders including architects, engineers, and supply chains to deliver compliant projects
• Analyze, track, and manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slips
• Verify effective project governance, processes, and systems are utilized
• Ensure application of best practices on all projects
• Produce formal project status reports and other required reports
• Monitor progress of multiple construction projects to ensure approved design standards are applied
• Manage the interface between suppliers through monthly trackers and weekly reviews
• Oversee the flow of project information via regular meetings and written communications
• Forecast and update key project milestones and budget
• Manage and monitor local design teams in accordance with commission criteria
• Provide technical support to owners, architects, general contractors, and regional stakeholders
• Rapid response to RFIs from the field
• Provide expertise for cost control, value engineering, and constructability guidance
• Independent review of status reports, drawing submittals, timelines, and costs from architects, contractors, and suppliers
• Client management – assist in developing excellent working relationships with clients to maximize new opportunities
• Strategic thinking – advise project teams on approaches to achieve clients’ and business objectives
• Knowledge management – capture key information and learnings from each project
• Process improvement – identify ways to improve internal systems and processes
• Adhere to SOX control responsibilities where applicable

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field
• Strong organizational and management skills – ability to work effectively and collaboratively with the broader team
• Effective presentation skills
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, and construction project management tools
• Strong communication skills

Pay

The salary range for this full-time role is $160,000–$180,000 per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent base salary only. Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.
