About the Role
AECOM Hunt is seeking a skilled Construction Scheduler with expertise in Primavera P6 and a strong background in commercial construction. The Construction Scheduler will play a critical role in planning, coordinating, and monitoring project schedules to ensure timely and efficient project delivery. This individual will work closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to develop and maintain detailed schedules, identify potential risks, and drive project success.
Responsibilities
- Develop, update, and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Collaborate with project teams to define scope, milestones, and deliverables.
- Analyze project timelines, identify critical paths, and provide recommendations to mitigate delays.
- Monitor and report on project progress, including schedule variances and resource allocation.
- Conduct regular schedule reviews with project managers and stakeholders to ensure alignment.
- Integrate subcontractor schedules into the master schedule and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare detailed reports, including Gantt charts, progress updates, and forecasts.
- Support claims analysis and provide documentation for schedule-related disputes, if necessary.
Requirements
- Minimum: BS in Construction Management/Engineering or a related field (preferred) and 6 years of experience in construction scheduling, or demonstrated equivalency of education and experience.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and resource management.
- Familiarity with other scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience in aviation, sports, or high-rise commercial construction is preferred.
Additional Information
This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization now or in the future. Qualified applicants must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test. This position is on-site and not hybrid or remote. Newly hired employees are required to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location.
Pay
The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $85,675 to $158,497 yearly.
