Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
  • Monitor project progress, compare it with the baseline, and report the progress.
  • Prepare monthly reports tracking schedule progress for projects, including forecast completion dates, potential schedule impacts, and any corrective actions necessary.
  • Consistently interact with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to keep them informed about the schedule and progress.
  • Identify critical and sub-critical activities that impact the project schedule.
  • Provide guidance and support to the project team regarding the project scheduling strategy and problem-solving.
  • Cook up coordination with all departments involved in the project to ensure all aspects are synchronized and are working towards the common goal.
  • Ensure all project documentation is updated and maintained as per company standards.
  • Conduct risk analysis for project schedules and recommend mitigation strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project scheduling, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Proficient in Primavera P6 and other project management tools.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, project management principles, and scheduling concepts.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to work independently and make decisions when necessary.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Project.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel as needed.
