Construction Sales Project Manager - Southeast Waterworks

About the role

Ferguson, a Fortune 500 company, is seeking a Construction Project Manager for its Waterworks Strategic Infrastructure group. This is a remote role supporting Southeast Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning and execution of critical sales projects, aligning with business goals.
• Manage cross-functional project teams, providing guidance, motivation, and follow-up to meet milestones and objectives.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Define project strategies to capitalize on market opportunities and drive revenue growth.
• Monitor project progress, proactively identify roadblocks, and implement corrective actions to maintain momentum.
• Analyze project performance metrics and provide regular reports to leadership, offering insights into project health and areas for improvement.
• Drive client engagement and relationship management during project lifecycles, ensuring client satisfaction and effective communication.
• Develop and refine project management processes, best practices, and tools to enhance project efficiency.
• Provide thought leadership on sales strategies, contributing insights and recommendations.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment that encourages idea sharing, problem-solving, and continuous learning.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on project management methodologies, sharing knowledge and expertise with team members and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Organizational skills and critical thinking abilities.
• Technical skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, Teams), Trilogy, and Bid Tracer.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Experience in waterworks/water treatment plant industry preferred.
• 2+ years of relevant sales or project management experience required.

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Able to lift 20-50 lbs.
• Limited travel for meetings and job site visits, up to 15%.
• No overnight travel required.

Pay

The estimated pay range for this position is $4,500.00 - $11,275.00 per month. The specific rate will depend on a candidate's qualifications and prior experience.

Schedule

This is a remote role that supports Southeast Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants. The ideal candidate must be willing to work EST time zone.
