Construction Project Manager - 3rd Shift

Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise construction for facilities and construction projects.
  • Work with project management staff to assess field needs and safety needs.
  • Provide regular project updates to project team and project stakeholders (emails, photos, conference calls settings).
  • Provide design assistance and design review at all stages of design.
  • Aid in design solutions during design and programming phases.
  • Maintain daily logs, job photos and videos.
  • Schedule and attend project meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
  • Assist with the overall project scheduling.
  • Schedule and conduct project job walks with team.
  • Cover trades in the field and ensure work plans are received and assessed.
  • Work with suppliers as required to facilitate the handling and expediting delivery of materials.
  • Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
  • Meet daily with project crews to review the production schedule and confirm all materials, equipment and resources are readily available for production to continue schedule and within budget.
  • Evaluate daily schedule and budget projections to accurately track project performance.
  • Initiate and manage appropriate certificates, inspections, project site markups (isolation plan, LOTO points, barricade plan, material flow plan, phasing plans), and other documentation regarding construction production on the project site.
  • Conduct required Job Hazard Analysis (JHAs) to ensure a safe and compliant work environment for all construction personnel.
  • Coordinate subcontractor work methods, schedule and crews as needed.
  • Track and follow up on open items - RFI's and Submittals.
  • Aid in and provide review of RFI's, submittals, change orders, and allowance utilizations.
  • Maintain strong working partnerships with general contractors and subcontractors.
  • Aid in and provide review of change management and estimate reviews.
  • Become completely familiarized with all Project Plans and Specifications.
  • Preside over weekly contractor, OAC, design, and work progress meetings designed to coordinate the work.
  • Ensure that the job site is always kept in a clean and organized manner.
  • Aid in project closeout.
  • Assist with other duties or responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Strong construction project coordination and field management skills.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor or mission-critical construction environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
  • Strong understanding of construction documentation, drawings, and specifications.
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of project scheduling and budget tracking principles.
  • Familiarity with RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project closeout processes.
  • Understanding of LOTO procedures, site safety requirements, and construction compliance standards.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lead meetings and provide clear project updates.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency with project reporting and construction management tools.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in project management in semiconductor or mission-critical environments.
  • OSHA 10 certification preferred.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • HAZWOPER certification preferred.
  • COHE certification preferred.
  • PPE training preferred.
