About the role
Young Life seeks a skilled construction manager to oversee complex infrastructure and vertical construction projects. This role is based at various project sites across the western United States.
Responsibilities
- Spiritual Formation: Develop personal spiritual growth plans and foster ongoing development within the construction team.
- Attentive Hospitality: Serve as a point of contact for camp staff and vendors, providing Christ-like service.
- Interpersonal Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with executive leadership, project teams, and stakeholders.
- Comprehensive Stewardship: Manage finances, people, buildings, and equipment with integrity, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Talent Development: Lead and mentor construction staff, driving performance management, succession planning, and leadership development.
- Embracing Excellence: Establish and enforce construction standards, drive continuous improvement, and ensure projects meet quality benchmarks.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field required.
- Experience: 10+ years of progressive construction project management experience, with demonstrated success in managing large-scale, complex capital projects.
- Skills: Advanced knowledge of construction methods, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management; strong communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.

Pay
The anticipated salary for this position ranges from $73,900 to $100,990, depending on relevant education, experience, and location.
