Title: Construction Project Manager III
Location: Merritt Island, FL
W2 Contract with strong potential for conversion to Direct Hire
Pay Range: Market Rate

Work Environment: Fully Onsite

Responsibilities

  • Lead construction projects through initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, cost forecasts, and reporting
  • Cookordination with general contractors, subcontractors, resident engineers, and stakeholders
  • Conduct regular jobsite visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance
  • Review and manage construction documentation, permits, inspections, and approvals
  • Support and assist with contract negotiations and contractor management
  • Evaluate and process change orders, payment applications, invoices, and project expenditures
  • Ensure project compliance with state, federal, and local regulations
  • Manage project risks, schedule impacts, and mitigation plans
  • Deliver project status reports, proposals, executive updates, and presentations
  • Enforce company safety, quality, and ethical standards
  • Coordinate project phasing and sequencing strategies
  • Resolve field issues and proactively manage project challenges
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, vendors, and business partners
  • Monitor contractor performance through frequent site visits
  • Support development of short- and long-term project schedules
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining project objectives

Requirements

  • Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of onsite Construction Project Management, Project Coordination, Facilities Management, or related experience
  • Experience managing construction projects throughout the entire project lifecycle
  • Experience coordinating contractors, subcontractors, and onsite construction activities
  • Experience with construction budgets, schedules, project controls, and reporting
  • Proficiency with: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, Visio
  • Experience with construction/project management tools: Primavera P6, MS Project, PMWeb, Smartsheet, Similar project controls platforms
  • Knowledge of: Construction permitting, Inspections, Building codes, Safety compliance requirements, OSHA Certification
  • Ability to work onsite and perform site inspections, including climbing stairs and navigating active construction environments
  • Strong problem-solving and project leadership skills
  • Self-starter with strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Required Qualifications: U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder), Refugee, Asylee
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in: Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Related discipline
  • Experience managing large-scale capital construction projects
  • Experience supporting aerospace, manufacturing, industrial, or mission-critical facilities
  • Strong contract administration and negotiation experience
  • Experience collaborating across geographically dispersed teams
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results in challenging environments
  • Strong business management and strategic planning capabilities
