Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects, acting as a liaison between program management and planning, project team, line management, test organizations, and the customer.
- Review status of projects and budgets, managing schedules, and preparing status reports.
- Absess project issues and develop resolutions that meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
- Responsible for developing mechanisms to monitor project progress and intervene and solve problems with project managers, line managers, and customers.
Requirements
- Candidate is required to have either:
- - Eight (8) years relevant progressive experience with a bachelor’s in engineering or related field;
- - Or six (6) years relevant progressive experience with a Masters in related field.
- Candidate is required to have the following experience:
- - Four (4) years of supervisory experience.
- - Four (4) years of project management experience.
- Candidate must have active-duty US Navy submarine operational and/or shipyard experience to include Naval Nuclear Propulsion Plant qualifications and experience.
- Candidate must have a strong technical knowledge of propulsion and non-propulsions submarine systems operation and intersystem interaction.
- Candidate must have strong interpersonal skills.
- Candidate must possess an active secret security clearance.
- Candidate must be a U.S. citizen.
- Bonus Points For Having!
- - Active-duty service on Virginia Class Submarines is preferred.
- - Previous Navy qualifications as Ship’s Duty Officer highly desired.
- - Project Management Professional certification.
- - Shipyard submarine new construction and/or propulsion plant testing experience.
Qualifications
To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Pay
Anticipated Salary Range: $118,300.00 - $139,006.40
