Construction Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Cook up all phases of construction projects including pre-construction, permitting, design, material procurement, construction, and closeout
• Plan workflows, schedules, and resource allocation
• Ensure projects are executed in accordance with established standards and timelines
• Monitor project progress and proactively address delays or issues
• Develop and support cost estimates for construction projects
• Maintain project logs, reports, and documentation related to construction activities, materials, and expenditures
• Track project milestones and provide status updates to management
• Coordinate and oversee subcontractors and construction crews
• Monitor contractor performance against project goals, timelines, and quality standards
• Partner with internal teams including Finance, Procurement, Warehouse, Legal, Engineering, and Design
• Communicate project status, risks, and updates to leadership and relevant teams
• Interface with municipalities, utility companies, and regulatory agencies
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements
• Review and respond to customer requests and complaints related to construction activities
• Ensure timely resolution and maintain customer satisfaction

Requirements

• Educational background: High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience: 2–5 years of experience in cable/telecom construction (fiber and coax preferred)
• Project coordination or supervisory roles: 2–5 years of experience
• Full construction lifecycle: Exposure to full construction lifecycle (design through closeout)
• Telecom infrastructure deployment: Experience in telecom infrastructure deployment (aerial and underground)
• Budgeting, cost tracking, and financial coordination: Exposure to budgeting, cost tracking, and financial coordination
• Contractor and vendor management: Experience in contractor and vendor management
• Regulatory and permitting processes: Familiarity with regulatory and permitting processes
