Responsibilities
- Cook up all phases of construction projects including pre-construction, permitting, design, material procurement, construction, and closeout
- Plan workflows, schedules, and resource allocation
- Ensure projects are executed in accordance with established standards and timelines
- Monitor project progress and proactively address delays or issues
- Develop and support cost estimates for construction projects
- Maintain project logs, reports, and documentation related to construction activities, materials, and expenditures
- Track project milestones and provide status updates to management
- Coordinate and oversee subcontractors and construction crews
- Monitor contractor performance against project goals, timelines, and quality standards
- Partner with internal teams including Finance, Procurement, Warehouse, Legal, Engineering, and Design
- Communicate project status, risks, and updates to leadership and relevant teams
- Interface with municipalities, utility companies, and regulatory agencies
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements
- Review and respond to customer requests and complaints related to construction activities
- Ensure timely resolution and maintain customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Educational background: High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience: 2–5 years of experience in cable/telecom construction (fiber and coax preferred)
- Project coordination or supervisory roles: 2–5 years of experience
- Full construction lifecycle: Exposure to full construction lifecycle (design through closeout)
- Telecom infrastructure deployment: Experience in telecom infrastructure deployment (aerial and underground)
- Budgeting, cost tracking, and financial coordination: Exposure to budgeting, cost tracking, and financial coordination
- Contractor and vendor management: Experience in contractor and vendor management
- Regulatory and permitting processes: Familiarity with regulatory and permitting processes
