Construction Coordinator
About the role
CrossSafety provides engineering and technical professionals to support large-scale automotive and industrial construction projects across the United States. We partner with leading organizations to ensure safe, efficient, and successful execution of these projects.
Responsibilities
- Implement building construction projects to support site.
- Coordinates construction scheduling and communication.
- Manage daily construction and RFI support for construction projects.
- Act as liaison between in-field construction and project management.
- May be responsible for estimates, schedules, materials and purchase orders.
- Supervise construction activity in the field.
- Coordinate weekend/shutdown work plans with contractors, facilities, NAMC shops, PC, and PE.
- Work with vendors and contractors to coordinate equipment delivery, installation, and scheduling.
- Have knowledge of general building construction methods.
- Monitor equipment installation methods for confirmation that installation meets specifications and drawings.
- Coordinator RFI’s and CCR’s.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in industrial or commercial construction projects
- Strong technical knowledge of construction means and methods
- Proficient drawing review and field application abilities
- OSHA 30 certification
- Ability to properly manage a construction schedule on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
- Ability to stand, stoop, and walk throughout a large industrial manufacturing plant for many hours of the day
- Ability to ascend & descend stairs to roof or equipment rooms throughout a large industrial manufacturing plant
- Competent with Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
- Experience with industrial, commercial, or manufacturing construction projects
- Associates degree in construction management
- Software experience: AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project

Pay
The pay range for this role is $50,000 - $75,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
This position offers up to 60 hours/week including weekends and shutdown support.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates must have:
- Associates degree in construction management
- Software experience: AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project
- Experience with industrial, commercial, or manufacturing construction projects
- OSHA 30 certification
