Construction Attorney
Responsibilities
- Draft, negotiate, and administer construction contracts, including AIA agreements, design-build contracts, and subcontractor agreements.
- Advise owners, developers, contractors, and design professionals on contract compliance, project risk, and construction law matters.
- Resolve construction disputes involving delays, change orders, payment claims, defects, and mechanic's liens through negotiation, mediation, arbitration, or litigation.
- Counsel clients on regulatory compliance, insurance, bonding, and strategies to minimize legal and financial risk throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience drafting and negotiating construction contracts and advising on project-related legal matters.
- Knowledge of construction law, dispute resolution, mechanic's liens, insurance, and risk management.
- Experience in the energy industry a plus.
- Active bar license in good standing in the state in which you currently reside.

Pay
The estimated total compensation for full-time Axiom attorney roles is $104,500-325,000 per year, while non-attorney roles range from $71,250-309,750 per year. Compensation decisions are based on various factors including experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs.
