About the role
The ideal candidate will have at least seven (7) years of experience taking and defending depositions, drafting and arguing dispositive motions, and preparing for arbitrations, mediations and trial. The candidate should also have experience with e-discovery. Experience litigating various types of construction disputes, including delay and disruption claims, payment disputes, and breach of contract claims, is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, manage and monitor significant complex disputes and litigation matters on a national basis
- Engage in risk management of potential claims
- Develop litigation and resolution strategies
- Report to clients
- Manage local counsel, experts and collaborate with multiple entities
Requirements
- Admission to Florida bar is required
- Excellent writing and oral communication skills
- Excellent academic record
- Highly motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a larger team
