Construction Administrator – Orlando, FL*
About the role
The Construction Administrator supports the successful delivery of airport infrastructure projects by providing construction administration and contract management support throughout the project lifecycle. This position works closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers, contractors, and project stakeholders to ensure project documentation, contract compliance, and administrative processes are maintained accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to Project Managers and Construction Managers.
- Process and maintain project documentation, correspondence, and records.
- Track contract compliance and project deliverables.
- Cookordination project meetings and monitor action items through completion.
- Process contracts, change orders, Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, and pay applications.
- Support procurement activities and contract administration functions.
- Maintain project logs, tracking reports, and documentation systems.
- Assist with project closeout activities and final documentation requirements.
- Cookordinate communication among project stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and clients.
- Ensure project records are accurate, complete, and maintained in accordance with project requirements.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum five (5) years of construction administration experience supporting active airport projects.
- Experience processing contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and pay applications.
- Experience supporting public agency or government-funded construction projects.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Skills
- Strong organizational and attention to detail skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
