Congregate Residential Counselor FT
About the role
The Home in Walpole is seeking Residential Counselors to support youth with trauma histories, developmental delays, and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnoses.
Responsibilities
- Support youth in developing essential life skills, coping mechanisms, and social interactions through modeling, counseling, and group activities.
- Participate in recreational and educational activities tailored to enhance youth growth and development.
- Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for the youth.
Qualifications
- One year or more of prior experience working with youth.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A strong passion for positively impacting the lives of children and families.

Pay
Salary offering at $20 per hour.
Schedule
Shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
What to Expect In the Role
- Passing the CORI/background check and having a valid ID.
- Physical activity for an 8-10 hour shift.
- Participation in verbal de-escalation and physical intervention with youth.
- Multi-tasking in a dynamic and fast-paced treatment environment.
- Receiving and implementing feedback in the moment and through a structured supervision process.
