Configuration Management Analyst II
Join Honeywell Aerospace as a Document Control Assistant II and play a vital role in managing and maintaining our documentation control processes. You will support configuration and data management processes and systems under the supervision of the Drafting Manager, ensuring compliance with regulatory, quality, and internal company requirements for documentation in a defense electronics design and manufacturing environment.
About the role
This is an onsite position located in San Diego, CA, following a 9/80 work schedule. No relocation assistance is offered. You will maintain and control data integrity within an Agile PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) system and support various document control activities related to engineering, program, and project technical data.
Responsibilities
- Notify stakeholders and coordinate the delivery of activities between internal and external data management systems.
- Monitor the deliverable process and provide updates.
- Process non-deliverable data requests.
- Support data management workflow approval processes.
- Contribute to program meetings by providing inputs and requirements for metadata information.
- Maintain the program data environment and perform records management tasks in compliance with organizational records retention policies.
- Provide data management support to program management and engineering management activities and events.
- Coordinate departmental and functional meetings for training on configuration management and user training within the Agile PLM system.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of related experience.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant configuration and data management experience.
- Strong understanding of configuration and data management fundamentals.
- Knowledge of the following standards:
- EIA-649B Configuration Management
- ANSI/GEIA-859: Data Management
- ASME Y14.100 and MIL-STD-100, along with various ASME specifications referenced within these standards
- ISO 10007 Guidelines for Configuration Management
- AS9100 requirements associated with configuration and data management
- CMMI processes and methods
- Ability to read and interpret government/industry standards, engineering documents, drawings, and BOMs (Bill of Materials) for configuration and data management.
- Understanding of engineering change order effectivity and implementation methods, as well as classifications of engineering changes.
- Experience with Siemens Teamcenter; Agile PLM is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office software and databases; experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD is a plus.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to speak effectively before groups of employees and customers.
- Familiarity with SAP or equivalent ERP systems.
- U.S. Person status (U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or protected status under asylum/refugee status) due to compliance with U.S. export control laws.

Skills
Certification in EIA-649B and experience with Siemens Teamcenter are valued.
Pay
The annual base salary range for this position is $51,750 - $64,450. This serves as a general guideline; actual offers may vary based on scope, responsibilities, candidate experience, education, key skills, and market considerations.
