Key Responsibilities
- Perform hardware configuration management activities for design, development, and production of complex systems
- Manage changes to approved configurations using a systematic change process
- Deliver and maintain engineering technical data package and apply CM processes per CM Plan
- Support configuration management and quality audits
- Develop solutions to moderate scope problems using guidance from policies
Qualifications
- Technical Associate's Degree or 4 years of Configuration Management experience
- 2 years of work experience
- Experience using a Product Data Management or Product Lifecycle Management database
- Good computer skills with MS Office suite to prepare metrics, reports, and documents
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Attention to detail, good time management and organization skills
- Sound interpersonal skills for interfacing with personnel, customers, and suppliers
Preferred Skills
- STEM Bachelor's Degree or 8 years of Configuration Management experience
- DoD experience
- PTC Windchill experience
- Experience applying industry standards and meeting government requirements
- General knowledge of relevant configuration management and design engineering standards, manufacturing processes, and documentation, including MIL-HDBK-61A, MIL-STD-31000, EIA-649, ASME Y14.24, ASME Y14.100
- Formal training in Configuration Data Management
- Advanced MS Excel user knowledge of complex formulas
- Experience managing BOM structures
- Familiarity with CMMI requirements
