About the role

Ogburn Construction is a specialty concrete repair company that focuses on solving structural and surface issues effectively. The Concrete Repair Field Consultant role involves evaluating settlement and surface issues on-site, recommending appropriate solutions, and converting qualified leads into successful projects.

Responsibilities

  • Meet homeowners at scheduled appointments
  • Inspect and diagnose settlement and surface issues
  • Measure square footage accurately using field math
  • Take photos and document the scope of work clearly
  • Present multiple options using company software
  • Explain solutions in simple terms
  • Ask confidently for the homeowner's decision
  • Submit clean, install-ready electronic paperwork
  • Protect margins and uphold company standards

Requirements

  • Comfortable working with homeowners face-to-face
  • Ability to stay calm during pricing conversations
  • Resourcefulness and willingness to learn
  • Strong math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Ability to measure and calculate square footage accurately
  • No need to be an engineer, but must be coachable and adaptable

Qualifications

  • Background in construction, trades, estimating, inspection, or field supervision
  • Willingness to earn through competence rather than pressure
  • Desire for autonomy with high accountability
  • Open to mastering a craft over 90 to 120 days
