About the role
The Concierge is often the initial contact and first impression that many people have of Phoenix Senior Living. The Concierge provides an overview of community information to inquiries in support of the Community Engagement Director and Executive Director in marketing and sales efforts. Additional responsibilities include assisting the Associate Director/HR Designee in recruitment, computer data entry, general administrative duties, and monitoring the Bistro area for refreshments, cleanliness, music, and atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the community entry area for visitors, guests, and residents; extend a warm welcome and offer beverages.
- Contact the Community Engagement Director, Executive Director, or Department Director to meet with prospective residents, families, or visitors, ensuring minimal wait times.
- Greet potential candidates interested in Phoenix careers and direct them to apply online or capture candidate information onsite to launch the recruitment process.
- Answer incoming and resident calls within two to three rings with the appropriate community greeting and identification.
- Take complete messages with pertinent information (name, number, message, time, date) and communicate them to the intended recipient.
- Provide a community overview to callers, determine who to forward the call to, notify the caller of the transfer, and announce the caller to the community associate.
- Manage appointments for residents and family members, such as hairdresser, transportation, and others.
- Send get-well cards to residents in the community (obtain community leaders' signatures before delivering).
- Send sympathy cards to families and/or responsible parties as needed (obtain community leaders' signatures before delivering).
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Proven customer service experience and skills.
- Knowledge and experience in the Senior Living Industry preferred.
