CONCESSIONS SUPERVISOR - Churchill Downs

Pay Range: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour

About the role

Levy at Churchill Downs is hiring seasonal, part-time Concessions Supervisors to join our team for our Spring, Summer, and Fall Racing Meets. Churchill Downs is home of the Kentucky Derby, described by Forbes as one of the "Greatest Bucket-list Sporting Events" in America. Our racing meets include:

• September Racing Meet: September 10th–27th (Twilight Thursday Racing and Downs After Dark)
• Fall Racing Meet: October 25th–November 29th (Thanksgiving and Black Friday)
• Spring Racing Meet: April 24th–June 27th (Kentucky Oaks, Kentucky Derby, and Downs After Dark)

Responsibilities

• Provides first-level supervision of food, beverage, and meal services while overseeing production.
• Ensures high-quality, good-tasting, and well-presented food and beverages are served within established time frames.
• Reviews menu and production needs to manage daily functions.
• Monitors staff to ensure all systems, protocols, and quality assurance tools are utilized correctly.
• Visits guest service areas to assess satisfaction levels.
• Communicates with staff regularly, both formally and informally.
• Enforces safety and sanitation standards with employees.
• Signs off on daily cleaning procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
