About the role

As the Technical Services Compliance Specialist reporting to the Technical Services Manager, you will lead compliance initiatives, serve as a resource for internal and external teams, and provide backup for OTC stability study management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead weekly Compliance Topics Forum to research, assess, and facilitate resolution of compliance activities (e.g., Risk Assessments, Notifications).
  • Serve as a compliance resource for the TS Audit Team (e.g., Lab, API MFR, RSPO, OTC Stability Chamber).
  • Maintain relationships with internal (RA/Safety) and external pan-regional compliance resources (consultants, etc.).
  • Provide backup for the preparation and management of OTC stability study samples, testing, and reporting.
  • Manage systems for compliance activities, including coordinating pan-regional GMP registration and site licensing with regulatory agencies, managing GMP license renewal calendars, and facilitating compliance-related invoicing across legal entities.
  • Support the Quality Management Team by researching GMP registration pathways for business expansion and product acquisitions, and gathering GMP evidence from third-party manufacturers or testing facilities.
  • Respond agilely to compliance issues, such as critical product troubles or urgent regulatory agency directives.
  • Maintain subject-matter expertise in compliance-related activities by monitoring compliance forums, publications, and notification websites, attending trade industry meetings, and obtaining necessary training.
  • Curate the agenda for the Compliance Topics of Interest forum and act as the Quality Management liaison to the QM/RA forum for discussing cross-functional issues.
  • Develop stability protocols, place and pull stability samples from storage, and provide samples for analytical testing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, or related disciplines.
  • 3+ years of general industry experience.
  • 1+ years of related compliance experience (e.g., participating in audits, managing compliance systems).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic compliance knowledge and adeptness in researching and comprehending compliance-related resources.
  • Basic SAP and PLM knowledge preferred.

Pay

Salary range of $60,000 – $75,000.
