About this position

DCI Donor Services is seeking a Compliance Specialist to join our team. Our mission is to save lives through organ and tissue donation.

We operate three organ procurement/tissue recovery organizations and maximize the gift of life through the DCI Donor Services Tissue Bank and Sierra Donor Services Eye Bank. Key Accountabilities

  • Maintains regulatory compliance of all functional groups within the company.
  • Supports GMP compliance activities by participating in audits and preparing for regulatory inspections.
  • Initiates, investigates, reviews, and maintains error reports including complaint files, deviation reports, non-conformance reports, supplier corrective action requests, adverse events, and other related compliance reports. Chairs material review board (MRB) meetings and documents MRB minutes.
  • Maintains and renews all state licenses and permits and ensures compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Performs trend evaluation and analysis on compliance data to identify common trends and potential process improvements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • An associates or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Two years of experience in quality compliance position, tissue banking, or related field, preferred.
  • Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office applications.

Pay

The starting pay for this position is $25/hr.
