Compliance Specialist
Job Responsibilities
- Reviewing and providing input into the development of relevant policies and procedures.
- Assessing the business’s current and future ventures to identify possible compliance risks.
- Assisting with overseeing and developing Vendor Management program.
- Day-to-day management of our compliance system(s).
- Reviewing, analyzing, and circulating Attorney Alerts and Client Surveys.
- Overseeing Compliance Resolution Tracker.
- Conducting internal reviews and audits.
- Assisting with preparation of due diligence packages.
- Advising internal management and business partners on the implementation of compliance programs.
- Identifying and resolving compliance issues that arise.
- Following up on compliance issues that require investigation.
- Evaluating compliance systems and ensuring adequate processes and procedures are in place.
- Reporting on compliance.
- Closely collaborating with HR departments to monitor enforcement of compliance regulations
- Training cross functional teams on compliance requirements.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance management, preferably in a legal or default services setting.
- Strong understanding of client compliance requirements and processes.
- Preferably familiar with client and case management systems including Case Aware, Black Knight, and Tempo.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, including Outlook and Teams.
- Demonstrates a keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail.
- Capable of effectively prioritizing tasks and meeting tight deadlines.
- Delivers exceptional internal and external customer service.
- Possesses excellent professional communication skills for written and verbal interactions with all levels of personnel, including managers, attorneys, clients, and external vendors.
