Responsibilities

  • Conduct internal monitoring reviews to assess compliance with laws, regulations, funding contracts, and Agency policies and procedures.
  • Support the internal monitoring review process for administrative functions.
  • Aid in preparing detailed compliance reports and dashboards for management to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Maintain and update compliance tracking systems and databases.
  • Provide administrative support for external monitoring reviews and audits by gathering documents and coordinating interviews. Assist supervisor with providing training.
  • Participate in work groups, committees, and ad hoc teams.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university is preferred; relevant work experience in compliance or auditing may be substituted for formal education.
  • Minimum of one to two years of compliance, quality assurance, risk management, or internal audit experience working in subsidized child care, Head Start, or other government-funded social service programs.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with compliance databases.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to interpret and apply complex regulations. Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills. Strong customer service orientation. Ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
