Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform weekly/monthly inspections by driving throughout property identifying non-compliant matters on homeowner lots.
  • Notify responsible parties of code issues given in writing and electronically.
  • Respond to and investigate allegations of violations of codes to determine validity of complaints and the appropriate course of action to mitigate issues.
  • Investigate and enforce property codes within boundaries.
  • Possibly attend monthly executive session meetings with the community manager.
  • Complete owner letters.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and forms.
  • Knowledge of general maintenance requirements (documentation, safety, required reporting, regulations, etc.).
  • Knowledge of OSHA worksite and personal safety requirements.
  • Knowledge of State or local governmental safety requirements.
  • Knowledge of conflict resolution techniques at a proficient level.
  • Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.).
  • Professional customer service skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, and a team player.
  • Time management and time-critical prioritization skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at a proficient level.

Education And Experience

  • A High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • 0 – 3 years of directly related or closely related experience is preferred.

Physical Demands

  • Regularly required to stand and to reach above the shoulders with hands and arms in order to file a variety of documents;
  • Use hands and fingers to input data into the information system;
  • Talk or hear in order to gather and provide information on departmental processes.
  • Sit in order to process information and conduct data entry activities.

Environmental Demands

  • Work is performed in a climate-controlled office without exposure to adverse environmental conditions such as dirt, dust, pollen, odors, wetness, humidity, rain, fumes, temperature and noise extremes, machinery, vibrations, electric currents, traffic hazards, toxic agents, violence, disease, or pathogenic substances.
