Compliance Inspector

About the Role

The JF Petroleum Group is a leading provider of turn-key solutions in the North American fueling infrastructure industry, serving retail fueling stations, commercial and government fleets, and emergency power customers. We are seeking a Compliance Inspector to join our team in Sanford, Florida.

Responsibilities

• Obtain daily work assignments from dispatcher using CMMS software (e.g., MobileTech, ServiceMax)
• Drive company service vehicles to customer locations, often on prescribed routes
• Prepare workspaces to ensure safe inspection performance
• Perform visual inspections of UST and/or AST systems using survey software (e.g., PASS, Titan)
• Take photographs of inspected equipment/components using CompanyCam
• Accurately capture and report inspection results in survey applications or customer-specific forms
• Maintain company vehicle, parts inventory, and testing equipment
• Support compliance testing personnel as a helper and apprentice
• Increase industry knowledge and obtain manufacturer certifications

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Pass pre-employment drug screen, background check, and motor vehicle record check
• Commitment to safety and adherence to strict protocols
• Proficiency in basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, industry-specific software)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Effective communication skills with customers, team members, and supervisors
• Minimum 3 months’ experience with petroleum-related equipment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 pounds repetitively
• Frequent bending, stooping, and standing 8-10 hours per day

Qualifications

• Obtain API Safety Certification during onboarding
• Complete Class A and Class B Operator certifications within 30 days
• Complete PEI RP-900 training within 45 days
• Complete JF Petro Group Service Training (NTO and NTI) within 90 days
