Compliance Inspector
We Build with Passion — Clean Harbors Kimball, NE Incineration units are seeking a Compliance Inspector to evaluate and document compliance requirements for the operations area, maintaining regulatory requirements defined in Regulatory Operating Permits and Federal/State Regulations. This position will cross-train to support Train 2 Inspectors and assist in Subpart BB audits as necessary.
Schedule
- Day shift, Monday–Friday
- 45 hours per week
- Overtime requires prior approval
Pay
$26 hourly wage, paid weekly.
Responsibilities
- Ensure Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
- Execute daily compliance inspections, including all necessary documenting and reporting.
- Perform required daily, weekly, and monthly monitoring tasks (Hydrocarbon, PSV).
- Conduct weekly opacity monitoring.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual Subpart BB/LDAR monitoring programs.
- Maintain proper LDAR tag information and ensure correlation to P&IDs (audits may be completed as required).
- Assist with compliance training for area operators as needed.
- Conduct and document safety inspections for selected areas.
- Attend training and maintain certifications for equipment operation/inspections as needed.
- Perform other Compliance Inspections/Monitoring that may be required as needed.
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by management and as required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent — required.
- Punctuality and consistent attendance.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in primary Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- 80–85% field work inspections and inspection entry.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Respirator fit test upon hire — clean shaven face required (mustache okay).
- Background check, drug screen, and physical — required.
