Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support multidistrict litigation (MDL) and complex coordinated proceedings
- Draft substantive motions, briefs and other strategic filings
- Conduct legal research and analyse sophisticated legal issues
- Manage discovery and coordinate case strategy across large-scale disputes
- Participate in mediations and other alternative dispute resolution processes
- Work directly with clients to develop litigation and resolution strategies
- Collaborate with national litigation teams on high-profile matters
- Advise clients across industries including life sciences, technology, retail and financial services
- Assist in addressing emerging issues related to artificial intelligence in litigation
Who You Are
- 3rd–6th year associate
- Experience in multidistrict litigation and complex coordinated litigation
- Strong research, writing and analytical skills
- Experience with case management, motion practice and discovery
- Background in technology, antitrust, product liability and/or data security matters preferred
- Government enforcement experience is a plus
- Judicial clerkship experience is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work directly with clients
- Admitted to the California Bar
Compensation
Salary Range: $200,000 – $325,000 (DOE)
