Job Summary
We are seeking a "Complaint Investigations Tech" to join one of our Fortune 500 clients. This role requires an entry-level lab technician with top skills in computer proficiency, documentation, and following written work instructions.
Job Responsibilities
- Unpacking boxes safely and sorting returned products by product lines.
- Investigating returned products to resolve customer complaints regarding blood glucose meters, strips, and sensors.
- Documenting complaint investigations in the Complaint Handling System.
- Using troubleshooting equipment such as multi-meters, oscilloscopes, test fixtures, microscopes, etc., to complete the investigation.
- Performing routine maintenance on individual quality records and ensuring equipment used for testing is within validity.
- Entering data entry of investigation results into the system.
- Conducting routine testing on products returned from the field due to customer complaints, using various lab equipment.
- Summarizing and recording all test data and maintaining proper documentation of all lab work.
- Processing customer returns in a timely manner according to ISO and FDA QS regulations.
- Supporting the company's goal for the timeliness of complaint investigations and closures.
- Communicating effectively both verbally and in writing.
Requirements
- Proficient computer skills to navigate Internet programs and basic Microsoft Office skills.
- Basic reading, writing, and comprehension in English.
- Good documentation skills.
- Ability to follow written work instructions of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Ability to focus while performing repetitive and routine investigations.
- Education: H.S. Diploma or equivalent (GED), with Technical experience preferred. An Associates (Two year) degree in Electrical Engineering or other Science may be considered. Recent college graduates with a Bachelor’s degree are ideal.
- Experience: Minimum of H.S. Diploma or equivalent. Recent college graduates with a Bachelor’s degree are ideal. Experience in Medical Device / Biotech Industry with a Technical Background is preferred. Knowledge of Electronic Troubleshooting is preferred.
- Language: Fluent in English.
