Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized support plans including behavioral support plans
- Hire, train and supervise direct support staff
- Provide direct support and personal care, as needed
- Convene and run regular household meetings
- Aid people supported to manage personal finances
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of time spent and log notes on behalf of people supported
- Coordinate medical care for people supported
- Work cooperatively with family, friends and other service providers
- Participation in agency on-call rotation (with additional compensation)
Candidate Requirements
- Must be 18 years old
- Valid driver's license, insured car and good driving record
- High School or equivalent
- Successful clearance of background checks
- One or more years' experience working with adults with IDD
Other Desired Knowledge/Experience
- Post-secondary education
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in basic computer programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Zoom
- Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum who have behavioral support/regulation support needs
Compensation and Benefits
- $52,000 starting salary + additional on-call compensation
