Community Service Officer
Job Summary
The Town of Prosper is seeking a Community Service Officer. Salary range: $49,412.01 - $56,823.81. Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED supplemented by vocational training in traffic enforcement or general law enforcement.
- Able to pass a physical and psychological assessment.
- Able to pass a drug screen, driving record check, and background check.
- Able to obtain a valid Texas driver's license.
Responsibilities
Investigates incoming calls for police services of a non-emergency nature: responds to calls regarding traffic accidents, traffic complaints, property damage, public service duties, stranded motorists, or other problem situations; provides assistance during major emergencies or natural disasters as needed. Writes reports, assists with Fleet maintenance, orders equipment and schedules patrol vehicles for routine maintenance. Performs other duties as assigned.
