About the role
We are seeking a Community Relations Director to lead our sales and marketing initiatives and support the financial success of our senior living communities. The ideal candidate will build relationships with future residents, families, team members, vendors, and the broader community.
Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for the sales and marketing process
- Collaborate with leadership team to implement marketing strategies
- Make sales calls, schedule educational presentations, and coordinate marketing events
- Outreach to nursing homes, physician offices, and other healthcare professionals
- Guide, train, and support team members in serving as a backup during inquiries, tours, and customer service
- Maintain a working knowledge of federal and state regulations
- Prepare reports and develop strategic marketing plans
- Model Compass Senior Living values of goodness, loyalty, faith, and fun
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in a related field
- Desire and talent to work with a high-functioning, empowered team
- Compassion, kindness, and a desire to work with elders and their families
- Computer literacy, social media savvy, and proficiency in specified online programs
- Organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a team environment
- Ability to work independently, be self-motivated, and be goal-directed
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in English with residents and coworkers
- Meet all health requirements as specified by state and/or federal regulations
- Ability to perform job responsibilities with or without accommodation
- Pass a criminal background check
- Valid driver's license
