Responsibilities
- Lead the sales and marketing initiatives to increase and maintain occupancy, supporting the financial success of the community.
- Represent the company's culture and values while developing strategic marketing plans and role-modeling extraordinary customer service.
- Build relationships with future residents, families, team members, vendors, and the greater community.
- Oversee the sales and marketing process, collaborating with leadership team members.
- Make sales calls, schedule educational presentations, and coordinate marketing events.
- Conduct outreach to nursing homes, physician offices, and other healthcare professionals.
- Guide, train, and support team members to serve as a backup for inquiry calls, tours, and customer service.
- Maintain a working knowledge of federal and state regulations.
- Prepare reports as required and develop strategic marketing plans.
- Model Compass Senior Living values of goodness, loyalty, faith, and fun as a community representative.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in a related field.
- Compassion, kindness, and a desire to work with elders and their families.
- Computer literacy, including savvy in social media and proficiency in learning specified online programs.
- Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a team environment.
- Ability to work independently, be self-motivated, and be goal-directed.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Good verbal communication and the ability to read, write, and speak English with residents and coworkers who only speak English.
- Meet all health requirements as specified by state and/or federal regulations.
- Ability to perform duties and responsibilities (Essential Job Functions) with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Pass a criminal background check.
- Valid driver's license.
