Community Operations Director
About the Role
This role serves as a cross-functional operational leader, working collaboratively across the organization to define, optimize, and standardize business processes and operating procedures. It involves partnering with system end-users to design efficient workflows, implement cross-functional process improvements, and document operational policies. The role actively contributes to system and operational enhancement efforts by collaborating with Product, Technology, and Clinical leadership, ensuring technology is effectively leveraged to support business needs.
As a dyad partner to the CMD, this position brings together operational and clinical excellence to lead the community. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills to influence operations across departments, foresee enterprise-level implications of changes, and manage risks and issues through resolution. With strong organizational and time management abilities, this individual provides operational expertise to market leadership, supports execution of P&L goals, and serves as a subject matter expert and guide to peers and teams across the enterprise.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively across the business to define, optimize, and evolve standard operating procedures and business process standardization across the enterprise.
- Work with system/technology end-users to develop optimal system workflows to enable desired business processes; identify and implement cross-functional process improvements.
- Document operational policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with Product leadership to leverage understanding of business processes for future requirements gathering related to system or operational enhancements or selection across the enterprise.
- Collaborate with Product, Technology, and Clinical leadership to optimize and maximize the use of selected technology.
- Lead, persuade, influence, and negotiate with respect to market operations, within the Operations Department, and among other supporting departments.
- Understand and foresee enterprise/company implications of subtle detail changes.
- Track issues/risks and follow through on resolution with departmental leads.
- Contribute to the organization’s growth and profitability by providing operational expertise to market leadership.
- Serve in a leadership role, providing subject matter expertise, guidance, and direction to teams and peers.
- For P&L, remain consulted and informed while executing against goals and targets.
Requirements
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license with completed certification in areas of Family, Adult, or Adult/Gero.
- Master’s Degree or higher (required).
- Minimum of 3-5+ years of direct people leadership/management experience (required).
- Minimum of 5+ years of NP or related nursing work experience.
- Previous experience in home care, hospice, palliative care, or geriatrics strongly preferred; other complex patient healthcare experience also beneficial.
- Prior startup experience (preferred).
- CPR certification (required).
- DEA possession or eligibility (required).

- Proficient with office software including Electronic Health Record, Scheduling Software, and Ring Central Applications; Microsoft Office experience.

Supervisory Responsibility
Directly oversees staff within an assigned geographical area.
Travel Requirements
Travel may be required up to 50% locally.

Pay
Salary Range: $110,001 - $175,088
