About the Company
Respan is an LLM engineering platform that unifies an AI gateway, observability, evaluations, and prompt optimization so teams can ship reliable AI agents across 500+ models from one control plane.
- Built the first proactive AI observability platform: it catches regressions, drift, and cost anomalies before they hit production, instead of just charting them after the fact.
- Raised a $5M seed led by Gradient Ventures, with Y Combinator and others participating.
- Operating at serious scale: 500+ LLMs, 2T+ tokens and 1B+ logs monthly, 6.5M+ end users across 100+ startups and enterprises.
- Growing fast, with 8x revenue growth year-over-year in 2025.
Responsibilities
- Run Respan’s social presence with a daily publishing cadence and a recognizable voice.
- Plan and host regular Bay Area events, including meetups, hackathons, demo nights, and co-hosted partner sessions.
- Turn launches, changelogs, and customer stories into threads, posts, and short videos.
- Build relationships with AI builders, developer communities, and partner companies, including model providers, CLI coding tools, and agent frameworks.
- Track what works across engagement, traffic, signups, and content or event-driven pipeline.
- Iterate quickly based on performance data.
- Support sales and growth by keeping a steady drumbeat of awareness in the AI engineering community.
Requirements
- Genuine familiarity with the AI and LLM space. You know what an eval is, you can tell Claude Code from Cursor, and you follow AI Twitter without it feeling like homework.
- Experience in marketing, community, content, or DevRel roles at a SaaS or developer tools company. AI infrastructure experience is a strong plus.
- Proven daily-cadence content creation. Show us an account, newsletter, community, or audience you helped grow.
- Experience organizing events, from 30-person meetups to larger community or conference activations.
- Comfortable with technical audiences. You can interview an engineer and translate the answer into a post without dumbing it down.
- Data literate. You read engagement and funnel metrics, then adjust based on what is working.
- Based in or willing to relocate to the SF Bay Area.
- Energized by in-person community building.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience. A great portfolio beats the degree.
