Community Manager
Overview
The Community Manager oversees all business operations at one of our apartment communities. The position requires strong resident relations and interpersonal skills, effective communication, and the ability to motivate and train staff.
Responsibilities
- Leads property staff, conducts candidate interviews, oversees onboarding, training, timesheet approval, and conducts quarterly discussions and annual assessments
- Manages performance, offers feedback to underperforming associates, and manages disciplinary actions in collaboration with HR
- Conducts ongoing training with office staff, covering leasing paperwork, workplace safety, and other daily operational needs
- Motivates associates through recognition programs, training, and team-building activities to boost morale and enhance productivity
- Aids in budget preparation and ensures adherence to approved budgets
- Completes month-end and year-end financial reporting and provides monthly budget variance reporting within +/- 10%
- Promotes resident satisfaction and retention by promptly responding to complaints, questions, and requests and taking appropriate actions to resolve service issues
- Collaborates with the property maintenance team to ensure prompt responses and completion of resident service requests in line with the company's standards
- Assists with short- and long-range leasing strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue goals
- Manages the client/owner relationship by meeting with owners, conducting property tours, providing updates, and responding to owner requests as needed
- Follows eviction procedures, including notice requirements, court representation, and facilitating proceedings as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or 1-2 years of relevant experience
- 3+ years of related multi-family property management experience
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Effective communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software
Physical Requirements
- Sit for extended periods of time while working at a desk
- Climb stairs
- Read documents, computer screens, and data
- Hear and understand verbal communications in person and over the phone or computer
- Lift or carry items such as files or office supplies weighing up to 20 pounds
- Operate a computer, keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment
Work Environment
- Based on site, primarily in an office setting but may require some time outside with exposure to the elements
- Open setting with bright lights, constant noises, and distractions
- Flexible schedule including weekdays, nights, and weekends (including Saturdays and Sundays)

Employment
Employment with RPM Living is contingent upon successful completion of a background check as local and federal state requires. Compensation
The anticipated pay range for this opportunity is $85,000-$95,000 an hour plus monthly bonuses and competitive benefits package.
