About the company

Get Regular is an AI-powered gut health tracking app, based in NYC. The platform makes gut health visible by tracking stool patterns, nutrition, and symptoms over time to generate personalized, actionable insights. Backed by gastroenterologists, Get Regular combines clinical expertise with real-world data to help people understand their gut as a system. By focusing on continuous, intuitive, and data-driven preventative health, the company aims to build trust in the information people use to guide their well-being. We're destigmatizing gut health the way periods were destigmatized: with confidence, humor, and beautiful design.

About the role

As the Community Manager, you'll own the relationship between Get Regular and the people who care most about gut health. Your day-to-day is split across three things:

  • Be present in the Reddit communities where real gut health conversations happen, listening for patterns, surfacing pain points, and contributing where it's genuinely useful.
  • Hold our owned communities together, including our Inside Scoop WhatsApp group and our social channels, by showing up daily and keeping the energy alive.
  • Turn what you've heard into a Substack and newsletter piece every two weeks that helps people understand their own bodies better.

You'll work closely with the founders and our clinical advisors to bring community feedback into the product and refine how we talk about gut health publicly.

Requirements

  • Active personal presence on Reddit. We want someone who actually uses the platform.
  • Strong communication skills, including clear, empathetic written communication and the ability to translate complex health concepts into accessible language.
  • Lived experience or strong proximity to gut health. IBS, IBD, chronic constipation, post-antibiotic gut work, eating disorder recovery, anything that means you show up in these conversations from a real place.
  • Background in social media management or community engagement tools (e.g., Slack, Discord, Circle, Facebook Groups, or similar platforms).
  • Experience building and managing online communities, with clear, empathetic written communication and the ability to translate complex health concepts into accessible language.
  • Comfort discussing topics related to gut health, wellness, and preventative care in a sensitive, non-judgmental manner; prior experience in health, wellness, or digital health is a plus.
  • Experience gathering, analyzing, and summarizing community feedback and engagement metrics to inform product and content decisions.
  • Self-directed, collaborative working style, with openness to experimentation in an early-stage or startup environment.

Pay

$30 to $35/hour, depending on experience.
