Community Liaison

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with pediatricians, developmental pediatricians, psychologists, schools, special education teams, speech therapists, occupational therapists, physicians, hospitals, social workers, case managers, and community organizations.
  • Serve as Blossom ABA Therapy's primary representative within communities throughout North Carolina.
  • Act as a liaison between providers, referral sources, families, community organizations, and Blossom ABA Therapy.
  • Foster long-term partnerships that improve awareness of and access to ABA therapy services.
  • Identify, cultivate, and maintain referral partnerships that generate sustainable growth throughout North Carolina.
  • Execute strategic territory development plans to increase referral volume and market presence.
  • Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of referral opportunities and community partnerships.
  • Monitor referral trends and identify opportunities for continued growth.
  • Represent Blossom ABA Therapy at community events, conferences, networking meetings, resource fairs, professional associations, and healthcare events.
  • Develop partnerships with schools, healthcare organizations, advocacy groups, nonprofit organizations, and community stakeholders.
  • Increase awareness of ABA therapy and Blossom ABA Therapy's services through education, outreach, and relationship-building.
  • Coordinate local community engagement initiatives that strengthen Blossom ABA Therapy's presence throughout North Carolina.
  • Educate healthcare professionals, educators, families, and community partners about ABA therapy, autism services, and Blossom ABA Therapy's programs.
  • Conduct presentations, lunch-and-learns, networking meetings, and educational sessions with referral sources and community organizations.
  • Maintain regular communication with referral partners to strengthen relationships and identify opportunities for collaboration.
  • Gather and share market intelligence regarding community needs, referral trends, and competitive activity.
  • Serve as a liaison between referral sources, families, and the Intake Department.
  • Support a seamless transition from referral through intake and service initiation.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from referral partners and prospective families.
  • Ensure a positive experience for referral sources and families throughout the referral process.
  • Partner closely with the Marketing Department to support local marketing initiatives, referral campaigns, provider engagement, community outreach efforts, and growth strategies.
  • Assist with identifying sponsorship opportunities, community partnerships, speaking engagements, and local events.
  • Collaborate with leadership to support market expansion and service line growth initiatives.
  • Provide recommendations that strengthen community presence and referral development efforts.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of provider meetings, outreach activities, referral relationships, community partnerships, and business development opportunities within the company's CRM platform.
  • Track referral activity, outreach efforts, and business development KPIs.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports detailing outreach activity, referral growth, provider engagement, community partnerships, and territory development.
  • Consistently achieve outreach, relationship-building, and organizational growth objectives.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in healthcare business development, community outreach, physician relations, provider relations, healthcare marketing, admissions, patient relations, referral development, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships that drive organizational growth.
  • Strong communication, presentation, networking, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and follow-up abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple initiatives across a large territory.
  • Experience utilizing CRM software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel throughout North Carolina.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.

  • Development of new provider partnerships and community relationships.
