Community-Led Actions

BlueActionBANOS offers funding opportunities to support communities in ocean restoration efforts.

• Tackle pollution, restore marine ecosystems, or advance sustainable blue economy solutions.
• Up to 24 months of programme support.
• Grants ranging from €200,000 to €2 million.
• Teams or consortia of 2 to 12 entities registered in Baltic and North Sea basin (BANOS) countries.

Transition Agendas

BlueActionBANOS offers funding opportunities to guide regional transformation towards sustainability and innovation.

• Design action plans guiding local sustainability, marine or freshwater ecosystem restoration, decarbonisation and climate adaptation pathways.
• Up to 18 months of programme support.
• Individual entities or consortia of up to 3 entities registered in the Baltic and North Sea basin (BANOS) countries.
• Up to €100,000 each.

Technical Assistance

Access to experts from project partners, including scientists, technical specialists, and Mission Ocean practitioners.

Knowledge Sharing & Networking

Knowledge sharing hub on BlueActionMatch Cross-action learning (workshops, webinars, and peer exchanges).

Application Process

The Application Process Consists Of 2 Steps: Compulsory submission of the Project Idea Form and individual consultations Submission of the full proposal.

Open Calls

• 1 Community-Led Action call and 2 Transition Agendas calls throughout the 4-year period of the BlueActionBANOS project.
