Community Habilitation Worker Enhanced 2 - Residential

Overview

The dedicated front line staff and administration staff support the agency to provide the best programs and services possible. This position is for Community Habilitation Workers R - Enhanced 2 who will provide skill building training and supports to individuals with developmental disabilities.

Primary Responsibilities

• Mentoring / Teaching Services
• Teach Daily Living Skills
• Perform Lifting or Assisting with Hygiene Functions
• Document Services and Understand Regulations
• Attend and Remain Up to Date on Required Trainings
• Receive Supervision from Community Habilitation Supervisor

Qualifications and Attributes

• Prior Experience with Related Populations
• Strong Interpersonal and Engagement Skills
• Ability to Document Services and Understand Regulations
• Bilingual English and Spanish Speaking (a Plus)

Physical Characteristics

• Capable to Sit or Stand in Front of a Computer for Long Periods of Time
• Able to Work in Open Space Floor Plan
• Capable to Move Throughout Work Day and Follow People Served Throughout Community
• Work Alongside Co-Workers Within 3 Feet
• Able to Move in Tight Spaces
• Occasional Lifting of >_25+ Pounds

Location, Pay Rate, and Hours

• Location: Hudson, NY
• Pay Rate: $19.50 per hour
• Hours: Monday-Friday, No Weekends. Full Time or Part Time hours available
