Community Consultant

About the role

AvalonBay Communities, Inc., an equity REIT, seeks a dedicated and highly organized Leasing Consultant to join its team. This role involves overseeing the daily operations of the leasing team at one of its apartment communities, ensuring residents experience luxury living.

Responsibilities

• Create customized tours for prospective residents, focusing on the perfect floorplan and neighborhood amenities.
• Follow up with leads to ensure residents feel valued and cared for.
• Work Saturdays to handle high traffic during weekends.
• Showcase the community's offerings through creative campaigns, continuous outreach, and social media.
• Build strong relationships with both residents and colleagues, fostering a culture of integrity, caring, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• 1-2 years of experience in a leasing or customer service role, preferably in the real estate or property management industry
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of fair housing laws and regulations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

Pay

Total Base Pay Range: $35,500.00 - $50,000.00

Schedule

Saturday availability is required.
