Community Banking Associate - FT

About the role

Join our team as a Full-Time Community Banking Associate at our Lightstreet Community Office in Bloomsburg, PA. This on-site role supports the paying and receiving functions of the community office, coordinates departmental work, reports to the immediate supervisor, and responds to customer inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Accept deposits, cash checks, and process utility bill payments.
• Sell treasurer checks, money orders, and other bank products.
• Accept loan payments, safe deposit box rent, and related payments.
• Process night deposits and mail deposits.
• Maintain awareness of new business opportunities with customers and actively refer them to appropriate customer service personnel.
• Cooperate with, participate in, and support adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management, safety, and soundness, including compliance with regulatory requirements such as the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), and Equal Credit Opportunity Act.

Requirements

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; specialized banking education or training preferred.
• Previous banking or other customer service experience preferred.
• Moderate reading, writing, grammar, analytical, and math skills.
• Proficient communicative and interpersonal skills; must be professional and courteous.
• Proficient eye-hand coordination.
• Ability to operate various office machines.
• Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, with some Saturdays. 37.5 hours per week, based on Lightstreet Community Office hours.
