Communications Project Management BYU-Pathway Worldwide (part-time, student employee)

Job Description

This position is centered on helping to improve the flow of projects that go through the Communication team at BYU-Pathway Worldwide and is expected to keep up with a professional environment and quick pace. Being teachable, perceptive, and proficient at learning is required to effectively manage the competing demands and priorities associated with this position.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team to complete projects and tasks on schedule.
• Present proposals, create tasks, determine deadlines, and assign projects.
• Aid with event coordination and execution.
• Order, track, and organize promotional material inventory.
• Complete special projects.
• Work directly with the Project Management Manager and others as needed.

Qualifications

• To qualify for student employment, you must be enrolled as a degree/certificate-seeking matriculated student at a CES educational institution (BYU, BYU-Idaho including online, BYU-Hawaii, Ensign College including online) OR taking PathwayConnect for the first time.
• Must reside within the state of Utah.
• Event coordination experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
• Highly professional, with mature judgment and demeanor.
• Exceptional organizational, writing, and grammar skills.
• Highly proficient in written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to learn and share knowledge.
• Flexible and adaptable to change.
• Sound judgment in decision making.
• Highly detail-oriented and mindful of others’ needs.
• Excellent time management and proactive.
• Strong ability to prioritize competing tasks, demands, and responsibilities.
• Ability to provide high-quality work under pressure and deadlines.
• Responsible, reliable, and accountable.
• Willing to learn project management software.
