Project Management Internship (Full Time, BYU-Pathway Worldwide)

About the role

This role is key to the success of team projects and events throughout the year. It involves working with a team to complete projects and tasks on schedule, following up with ongoing projects, scheduling meetings, presenting proposals, creating tasks, determining deadlines, and assigning projects. Inventory management and organization are also part of the responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Work with a team to complete projects and tasks on schedule
  • Follow up with ongoing projects
  • Schedule meetings with Communications team members and clients to discuss projects and processes
  • Present proposals, create tasks, determine deadlines, and assign projects
  • Inventory management and organization
  • Provide administrative and clerical assistance
  • Aid with event coordination and execution including booking travel, shipping materials and equipment, recruiting and training volunteers, creating volunteer packets, and working with event partners and vendors
  • Work directly with the Project Management Manager and others as needed

Qualifications

  • Paid Interns are qualified while enrolled in an educational institution and for one year following graduation.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Strong writing and reporting skills
  • Responsible, reliable, and accountable
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to complete projects thoroughly and on time with minimal supervision
  • Proactive problem solver
  • Excellent project organization and management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Flexible and adaptable to change
  • Highly detail-oriented and mindful of others’ needs
  • Willing to learn project management software, currently using Wrike
  • Ability to provide high-quality work under pressure and deadlines
