Communications Manager IV

About the role

A world-leading social technology and digital media conglomerate is looking for a skilled Internal Communications Manager to support its suite of flagship consumer platforms. In this fixed-term generalist capacity, you will join the Internal Communications group, collaborating directly with executive leadership, cross-functional stakeholders, and international teams to ensure employees remain engaged, informed, and aligned with company vision. This role is ideal for an agile communicator who can seamlessly navigate multiple product domains, rapidly absorb new domain knowledge, propose creative initiatives, and drive ongoing high-priority projects.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership across core platforms to build and deploy strategic internal communication plans.
• Pivot across various platform organizations as business priorities evolve, seamlessly stepping into active workflows and swiftly mastering new subject areas.
• Deliver proactive and reactive communications for strategic initiatives, organizational shifts, and major campaign rollouts.
• Draft and refine executive copy covering core business strategy, major product updates, and key company achievements.
• Align messaging with key cross-functional partners-including Legal, HR, and Operations-to maintain organization-wide consistency.
• Assist in planning and executing internal company forums and town halls (e.g., Q&A sessions, All-Hands meetings), including agenda design and executive briefing documents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
• 6+ years of progressive experience in internal communications, corporate affairs, or a related domain.
• Minimum of 2 years focused specifically on internal communications programs.
• Demonstrated track record of advising, guiding, and influencing senior executive stakeholders.
• Proven ability to distill complex operational and technical information into clear, compelling narratives for a broad workforce.
• Exceptional project management capabilities with a demonstrated history of balancing multiple concurrent initiatives.

Pay

Compensation Range: $75 - 85 per hour. Pay offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
