Key Responsibilities
- Pitch creative, modern ideas for marketing approaches, social media campaigns, and brand presence.
- Lead execution of new communication projects from start to finish.
- Create and design high-quality communication materials, including corporate newsletters, presentations, and pitch decks.
- Evaluate the current website design and recommend and coordinate updates to improve layout, look, and feel.
- Keep primary channels (website, social, partner communications) updated, vibrant, and aligned with the brand identity.
- Collaborate with the Business Development team to coordinate outreach efforts and craft compelling messages for partner acquisition.
Position Requirements and Qualifications
- Experience: 1–2 years of experience in marketing, brand management, communications, or a related role.
- Mindset: Proactive, "can-do" attitude with enthusiasm for building community and keeping people excited.
- Prior familiarity with the Government Contracting (GovCon) industry is a significant plus.
- Familiarity with social media platforms (especially LinkedIn) and basic tools (e.g., Canva, Google Analytics).
- Communication Skills: Exceptional writing, interpersonal, and storytelling skills with a sharp eye for modern design trends.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) from an accredited four-year college or university.
