Commissions Analyst I

Job Description

As a key member of the Operations team, the Commissions Analyst will play a critical role in managing Bridgepointe’s monthly commissions processing, analyzing agent performance data, and delivering essential commissions support. This role emphasizes thoughtfulness and application of data manipulation and automation skills to assist the Operations Team, specifically focusing on helping Bridgepointe manage its monthly commission run and agent reporting/analysis as well as providing general commissions support.

• Collection, manipulation and importation of Supplier commission statements
• Work in concert with all associated stakeholders to ensure timely payment of all commissions
• Aid in assigning newly paying commission accounts
• Communicate with Suppliers on commission inquiries
• Work with spreadsheet / database to:
• Automate commission statements
• Configure reconciliation of commissions paid with existing data
• Monitor various department e-mail aliases and supplier portals
• Perform ad hoc analysis as required

Qualifications & Proficiencies

• Analytical & Auditing skills
• Intermediate experience with the Microsoft Office Suite
• Comfortable with the cyclical nature of finance work
• Experience with data reporting tools such as Knime or Alteryx
• Advanced Excel skills required

Preferred

• Three to Five years of experience in either a Commissions Analyst or Revenue Assurance role
• Experience in Information Technology sectors of business
