ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Acquire Sales Analysis of assigned geographic area and target service department roofing sales.
- Service department sales are sales for small re-roofs, preventative maintenance inspections, and leak calls. Service sales are less than $100,000 in contract value and/or less than 100 squares of roof.
- Develop a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company service sales goals and profitability.
- Initiate and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate new markets in your service territory.
- Review market analyses to determine customer needs, sales volume potential, and pricing schedules that will meet company goals.
- Analyze Sales statistics gathered by Sales Team to determine sales potential.
- Responsible for Development and performance of ALL Sales Team activities in assigned market.
- Establish plans and strategies to expand customer base in the assigned geographic areas.
- Utilize the appropriate estimating channels to secure pricing for any quoted work that falls outside a pre-established MSA.
- Represent Company at trade Association Conventions and meetings promoting Company Services at the request of the Company.
- Maintains accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports submitted by Sales Team.
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the Team.
- Develop and maintain marketing and sales material and current product knowledge.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or four to six years of related experience in Sales Management or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Fluent knowledge of a variety of computer software applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Center Point, Salesforce, and Raken.
- Knowledge of office administrative procedures and knowledge of use and operation of standard office equipment.
- Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees, managers, and customers.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Willingness to travel and work with diverse client/customer base.
- Attend job walk and prepare takeoff off by measuring, noting all variables of the Roof site. This may require multiple visits to the actual project site.
