Outside Sales with our Commercial Sales Department

We are expanding and seeking an outgoing, motivated individual for our commercial sales position in the flooring industry. This role blends inside and outside sales, ideal for someone who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and enjoys sales. While previous sales experience is a plus, we will train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with flooring choices, explaining features and benefits of various types of flooring
• Sell flooring and floor care products
• Collaborate effectively with other store employees
• Use computer databases to research merchandise availability and process orders
• Visit job sites to provide product and design advice
• Assist in project management
• Prospect for new business and network within the community

Requirements

• Commercial flooring sales or related experience is helpful but not required
• Outside sales experience is desirable
• Project management experience is a plus
• Access to reliable transportation for work and customer visits
• Open and flexible work availability
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and willingness to learn our operating system
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Professionalism, including dependability, accountability, and punctuality
• Self-motivated and driven to excel in your position and career
• Strong time management skills for handling multiple deadlines and deliverables
